Mad keen fortnite player, Gamer Tag "Lana Rocket" with pretty good stats, but a fun clown social player wanting to play squads with other like minded adults.
Proud to call myself a nerd. I love living in tropical north Queensland Australia. A country I love. You won't find me on facebook, Instagram or social media I don't have an accounts there any more and really don't miss the distraction. I just maintain my personal website here and email.
I have worked in I.T. Computer related jobs since completing high school many years ago, which has now crossed over to photography as well. I still build my own custom computers for myself, friends, family and clients. I do have laptops for working remotely but prefer more powerful desktop computers running a larger screen and full size keyboard and mouse. Which is also great for my Fortnite gaming habit.
Some of my favourite things in life are:
- Music, I am enjoying Spotify's streaming service
- Computers, Playing Fortnite, Interest in Linux and Windows
- Photography
- Enjoying adventures with the people that are important to me
I love to have my own domain for my personal email address, it has the benefit of being able to host it where I choose. I also love to use an Australian domain extension.
Free and useful software that I recommend:
Notepad++ I find a better replacement to windows notepad for creating and editing text files.
Keepass is a great free password manager, you can also get apps for phones that can use the same database format.
Irfanview is a great basic image editing program, it's nothing like photoshop but quick and easy to resize images, rotate etc.
Libre office is free and can create/edit documents and spreadsheets. It is a good alternative to Microsoft Office.
Thunderbird is an email client made by the Mozilla team.
